گاباپنتین همچنین در درمان دردهای مزمن ناشی از آسیب عصبی نیز تجویز می شود .
این نوع درد که به درد نوروپاتیک معروف است می تواند علل مختلفی مانند دیابت
و یا زونا داشته باشد.
علاوه بر اینها گاباپنتین برای جلوگیری از حملات میگرن نیز تجویز می گردد.
